Soccer

On this page, you will find information regarding my soccer career as a player and coach.

Senior Year

When my hand + rings were on TV

Background

I played varsity all 4 years at Arapahoe High School (2014-2018). I committed to Angelo State University (a DII in Texas) during my freshman/sophomore year. I played for ASU for my 4 years attending; during this time, I received 3 rings (2018-2022).

When returning home to Colorado, I wanted to continue being a part of the game. I became an assistant coach for the JV boy's soccer team at Arapahoe High School for the Fall of 2022 and the JV girl's soccer team at AHS in the Spring of 2023. I plan to continue to coach as my experience in teaching progresses.

I plan on continuing to share my knowledge and love for the game through coaching. I believe sports offer a great balance of opportunities to grow as an individual and as a teammate. Sports offer a community for students, a way to create friendships, and an opportunity to work to reach an overarching goal together.

Soccer served as escapism for me. It offered me a space to forget about everything else in life and play the game I loved with the people I loved. I am forever thankful for the friends, coaches, and experiences I gained through playing soccer. I hope to help others find the greatness soccer/sports can bring.
