Child abuse is the act of the parent or guardian intentionally failing to take care of their child and physically or emotionally harming them. This issue is important because educators see a lot of students come through their classes that they just wish they could help dearly. Some cases are not visible enough to take the child out of the situation and you can only do so much to help them. I am passionate about this issue because no child should have to go through something like this and not be heard. I believe all students should have the right to speak up.
