In our first unit, we explore the history of Psychology: how it started, what it's really about, and the different approaches used to study it.

Why is sleep so important to all conscious beings? Do dreams have a connection to our reality? How can we alter our consciousness?
Unit 3:
BRAINS
How do brains work? Let's learn about all the cool things our brain can (and can't) do, memorize some basic anatomy, and build our brains.
Mini-Unit:
MOTIVATION, EMOTIONS, & STRESS:
Learn about why we feel things, how to stay motivated when you just "don't wanna," and how to deal with and manage stress in a healthy way.

DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY:
Why are teens so different from other age groups? How do we change and adapt as we age? How do we develop - emotionally, cognitively, socially, psychologically?
