My goal as a future teacher is to teach at the elementary level. I have been working as an Instructional Aide in the Imperial Valley for almost five years. My objective is to create an inclusive environment for the students of the community using their prior knowledge for their learning growth.
Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosphy is that learning is effective when students' attention is captured and lessons are meaningful. Students need to feel seen, supoorted and represented in the classroom. That is why I believe that teaching should try to connect to their own experiences and make learning fun.
The philosophy of my teaching is based on the belief that students can contribute and classroom instruction expands. My objective is to achieve this through creating a classroom atmosphere that promotes discussion, collaboration, structure and activities that activate student's thinking and also their motor skills. To achieve effective learning It is also fundamental to acknowledge student progress and reward effort and participation to motivate students and to keep reaching for success.
