Art I
Drawing Boot-Camp:
These before and after drawings are from students in Art 1 who drew the same image on the first day of school, and then again at the end of the first unit. They do this to show the depth of their improvement in their artistic ability since the first day of class. “Drawing boot camp”, the first unit of Art I, teaches students to draw using the right side of their brain. During the first several weeks of class students participate in a variety of activities and exercises that teach them technical art skills and tools they can regularly use as they continue their art careers.
