Students with IEPs or 504 Plan can get services and accomdation to be sucessful in college!
Once the student applies to the school and recieves there ohlone college ID number they can follow through with meeting with the SAS department
Steps to get started with Student Accessiblity Services (SAS)
• Email documentation that verifies your disability to sas@ohlone.edu
Can be any one of the following
* IEP from High School
* 504 Plan from High School
* Psycho-Educational Report from High School
* Doctors Evaluation or Report that has the diagnosis of your disability and how it impacts your education and/or daily life activities
*Have your doctor fill out the attached Disability Verification Form and send the completed form to sas@ohlone.edu
• Once SAS receives and reviews the documentation sent and it meets eligibility, you will be contacted by our SAS Program Assistant to schedule you an intake appointment to meet with one of our SAS Counselors
• During the intake, the SAS Counselor will have an interactive discussion with you about SAS, the services we provide and what accommodations you will be eligible to receive.
• The SAS Counselors are also Academic Counselors. They will also discuss your Educational Plan and Goals and what classes to take to achieve your goals.
• The intake appointment can be done in-person or remotely.
