My favorite memory of 7th grade is when we went to Washington, D.C. I had fun exploring sites and memorials with some of the class as we walked past Washington, we even got large bomb pop popsicles on the way.
Dear 7th Grader,
Hi, I am a former student of this grade, and here’s what you need to know for this year. One of the first things you should know is to always turn your work in, trust me, you don’t want to make the teachers upset at you. It’s understandable if you’re not there for a few days and you don’t get to turn your work in, but make sure to not turn your work in after the due date. Another thing you should know is to not get into an argument with the teachers, mainly arguing about work that you forgot to do or didn’t turn in. I’d also not want to start a scene with your teachers in the middle of class, in front of all of your classmates, which I know because it happened a few times when I was in 7th grade.
Be aware of upcoming tests, because you’ll be doing a good bit of them this year, and they also have a big impact on your main grade overall too. Listen, I think almost everyone doesn’t like studying, especially me, but it’s good to look over stuff for a bit in your free time if you want to get a good grade on things. Don’t feel left out in activities you’ll do, and try to help out. Throughout this year, you’ll usually be put in different tasks and activities to do with other groups of people, like working on a packet with each other for example. Like I said before, don’t try to feel left out in these tasks, help out the other groups of people in these things, and maybe with groups like these you’ll get the assignment you’re doing finished faster.
One last thing I’ll tell you, is to successfully make it through the school year, and try your best in things. I know school can be stressful and hard sometimes, but just remember most of the things I told you, like getting your work done before the due date, and you’ll have a decent school year.
Your friend, Davin
