Objectives:

• Determine intervals on which a function is increasing or decreasing.
• Apply the First Derivative Test to find relative extrema of a function.

First Derivative Test pt1 (for Day #22 lesson)

Using critical numbers in the process to determine intervals of increasing/decreasing behavior, and then complete the First Derivative Test process to locate extrema.

First Derivative Test pt2 (for Day #24 lesson)

Given a graph of a function, draw the graph of the derivative function. Then apply the First Derivative Test to a function involving trigonometric expressions.
