When I moved to Beijing I was able to join a coed flag football team. What a great opportunity to meet new people and get outside and run around.
I played quarterback most of the season.
During the summer there is an activity that I never miss. I ride my bike hundreds of miles across the great state of Iowa. I am part of a cycling team that meets up every year to tackle this grueling task. We end the week long tour by dipping our tires in the mighty Mississippi River.
Rock climbing has been a passion of mine since my time in university where I worked at the rock wall in the rec center.
Here I am in Northern Mexico, reaching the summit after hours of face climbing. This climb was over 1,000 ft long!
