Welcome to my teaching website! Here, you will find my resume, reference letters, and some examples of lesson plans I taught during my student teaching programs.

My qualifications to be an effective teacher are highlighted by my education and lifetime experiences. I have been an active children’s coach throughout my life instructing gymnastics, cheerleading, and various equestrian sports. With my varying coaching experiences, I have had wonderful opportunities to work with a diverse group of children and adults.

Coaching children has been a part of my life since my very first job. It brought me joy when my students became excited about a new skill they mastered. Their dreams of what they wanted to accomplish motivated me to learn different modalities to help them best achieve their goals. As an elementary school teacher in your district, I would be in an effective role to guide children in my community to become well-rounded, motivated, and successful individuals.When I had my first child, Adalynn, I realized I could make more of a positive impact and a real difference in children’s lives as an elementary teacher rather than coaching equestrians or gymnastics. My effective communication skills, ability to acquire and retain children’s attention and a desire to provide the best education for these children are what will make me a great teacher.

Furthermore, I have a passion for integrating technology into the classroom. Were I to be hired by your district, I would be very much interested in integrating coding in the classroom. Of course, I am also deeply committed to teaching the fundamentals of reading, writing, and math. My educational experience and my professional training at Cal State San Marcos has prepared me to undertake the wonderful job of teaching elementary aged children.
