I believe that school is very important and that it is a place for students to grow both educationally and individually. It is my belief that every student is an individual, who may not learn the same way, and may have different beliefs. It is my responsibility to treat each student as an individual, create a fun learning environment that teaches in multiple forms for each student to succeed, and to bring students together and work together to become confident, respectful, hard-working individuals.I believe that no matter the type of teaching environment, online or in class, all of the different types of student engagements can be achieved. Any one of those engagements can be used online or in the classroom. It allows me as a teacher to keep things organized as the learning can continue. Videos, Google Meet, interactive websites, games, student participation, and group work can be done both on and off of a computer. I believe that schedules are a important with students especially elementary. They know each and everyday what they are doing and when and me as a teacher does not want to disrupt that if we are in class or online. I believe that students become successful both as students but individuals as well especially when they work in a group. It teaches them how to communicate, be a leader, and a teammate. They learn how to respect others' opinions and learn to work through differences. I also believe in individual work as not every student learns the same or works at the same pace. It allows the student to organize their time and work. I believe it also teaches them how to be responsible and to speak up when needing help instead of relying on someone else.
