ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Kayla Pierce or Mrs. Pierce for my students. I have been married to my husband Brandon for six years and we have four wonderful and crazy boys! They are, Gannon (11), Hudson and Rowan (5), and Dalton (1). Our oldest Gannon is involved in football and travel ice hockey so he keeps us very busy! 

I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from the University of Louisville where I was a member of the swimming and diving team. I went on to graduate from Indiana University Health's Accelerated Surgical Technology program in 2010. I have since then been a Certified Surgical Technologist. In 2022, I decided to pursue my dreams of becoming an elementary school teacher and began my transition to teaching/Master's in Elementary Education at the University of Saint Francis where I will graduate this coming spring!

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and love watching any type of sports! Our family is huge Notre Dame football fans and Chicago Blackhawks hockey fans!
