Room 104 is a community of leaders who strive to be responsible, respectful, and safe each day. Individual and whole class positive behavior management is central to our classroom. This includes Class Dojo, access to which will be given by Back to School Night. Detailed implementation of Soul Shoppe tools and a Calm Corner also help encourage emotional well-being and strong student relationships. All students deserve to feel respected, seen, valued, and represented in their classroom community, and our Weller Core Values reflect that. By building this community, we will cultivate our students as leaders at Weller and beyond.
As you know, safety is central to our return to school. Weller is committed to our students' safety. MUSD's full safety plan for COVID-19 can be found online. Here are some highlights within our own classroom:
Students may choose to wear masks.
Everyone who enters the classroom should sanitize their hands.
Students will be monitored for symptoms. Any symptomatic students will be sent to the office.
