A Word About Thesis Statements (5/13)
By now, you've all received some feedback on your thesis & method statements.
See HERE for some general tips as you edit and polish your thesis.
Online Textbook Access
Students, while I will continue to pull information from the textbook for daily lessons and assignments, I wanted to provide you with home access to the entirety of our textbook. If you choose to access the online book, you will need to make a login account. This book is free for your use, so do NOT setup a subscription or payment method.

Supplemental Reading Lists
Students, if you are looking for more ways to engage with reading this spring, here is a supplemental reading list curated by your Honors 10 teachers. This list includes books that would have been options for you to read during the cancelled book club unit.
Reading anything on this list is optional, but might be a great way to keep your literary analysis skills sharp for nest year (especially if you plan to take AP).
If you do read anything off the list, consider making a brief review or posting a short video to Flipgrid here. In your review, be sure to include:
1. A brief description of the book (No spoilers, please)
2. Any themes/topics relevant to the book
3. Your overall impression of the book & whether you would recommend it to someone else

Purdue Writing Lab - This site is a great resource for ensuring proper format for citations. In ELA, you'll mostly use MLA (Modern Language Association) - though the APA and Chicago resources may be useful for you in other disciplines.
