Friday Dec 5th:  watch beginning of Othello movie. Learn about Shakespeare's language. Practice translating to modern.

Wednesday, Dec 3: Shakespeare and Othello. 

Sonnet handed in Tuesday, Dec 2 (inc. rough draft with edits).  Review Shakespeare's life and times (Tuesday).  Listen to slam poetry. 

Thursday Nov 27th: (Winter Formal)  work on Sonnet. Check  draft with Mrs. Luccock on Monday. Type on plain paper. No gaps. Add 2 or more illustrations.  Due TUESDAY 2 DEC.

Tuesday, Oct 21: Finish reading up to the end of chapter 9 of KR. Answer questions on pink sheet for chp 9 for Wed.

FRIDAY, Oct 17th: re-read chapters 6-7 and the sample paragraph. Prepare ideas and quotes for the in-class paragraph on Monday, 20th. You may bring your book with a few Post-it notes to identify quotes.

 Friday Oct 10: read and make notes on KR to end of chap 4.

Friday, Oct 3: Study for the Afghanistan test on Wednesday, Oct 8. Final presentation Monday.

Friday Sept 5: your Identity collage. Use magazines, newspapers, photos, quotes. write an explanation for your choices of pics/quotes and attach.
