Monday Nov 24: New book- "Fearless Warriors" short stories.  We read and analyzed "The Boy in the Ditch" by Drew H. Taylor. Now in pairs,  choose another story to analyze and present to class next week. (see criteria and instructions sheet). Wednesday and Thursday- we will work on Trickster project. 

Friday Nov 21: Continue working on your Trickster project, either a newspaper (individual) or a News broadcast (group). Project is due Dec 2. See separate instructions.

Friday Nov 14th: fill in the trickster side of purple sheet

Monday Nov 10th: Finish summary sheets on Trickster stories

Tuesday Nov 4th: Windigo project due Wednesday.

Friday Oct 31:  Finish watching the Day After Tomorrow movie. Fill in answers to questions on yellow sheets for Monday. 

Oct 23: work on Windigo assignment (blue sheet). Bring an iPad/Laptop, (if you can) Monday - Wednesday, next week.

Tuesday Oct 21: answer questions on MOCS chapters 26-30

Friday, Oct 17th: Read chapters 22-23 of "MOC SNOW", Quiz on Monday.

Friday Oct 10th: read chapters 10-13. quiz Tuesday.

Friday 3 Oct: Well done on your in-class essay. Next week we will begin our class novel.

Monday Sept 29th: Polish up your intro and add a hook for essay on Beans' movie. Wed- Thurs, we will work on body paragraphs and conclusion. In-class essay Friday, Oct. 3. Please do NOT be away!

Tuesday, Sept 9th: Work on group presentations this week. Presentations will take place next Monday and Tuesday. Follow the same order as listed on the sheet. Collage and explanation due tomorrow. Remember to bring your reading book!

Monday Sept 8th:  Library and reading book. Finish collage and 1 page writing for Wednesday. start researching your group's topic on Indigenous.

Thursday Sept 4th: Review Irony. Read Identities story and MC quiz. Web on Identity.
