2. Under your thesis statement, write down what the five traits of a good thesis statement are (review from term 1). Write down as many as you can before looking, then look at slide 12. Review how each of the traits relates to this specific essay by reading through the entire slide.
3. Rewrite your thesis statement 4 times. The first time, revise for focus. The second time, revise for length. The third time, revise for debatableness. The fourth time, revise to outline entire essay.
