My Debate Conditions

Voice chat only. 

No logical fallacies.

No ad hominems. 

No appeals to authority. 

And so on. 

I will warn you once, twice and will ban you on your third violation. 

One more condition: I AM LIVE STREAMING THESE DEBATES ON YOUTUBE!!!! So if you don't want to  be famous - don't join my debates. 

Why no ad hominem? 

When you commit the ad hominem logical fallacy, you are discussing your debate partner instead of the debate topic. 

You need to imagine that your debate partner is just a lawyer representing his client, who is of the opinion represented by my position. 

As it would make no sense to discuss the lawyer's personal predilections, history, personality, tendency, intelligence, education etc., so too, it should be no brainer for you to realize that it would make no sense for you to discuss me. 

And just like if you decide to discuss the lawyer in a court of law - the judge will have no sympathy for your "argument" - so too, in a debate, I will have no sympathy for your "argument" referencing me. 

Instead, I will see it as it is - a logical fallacy. And by you committing a logical fallacy, it would be evidence, that you know, that you do not have any more logical arguments to make. And that you are out of logical ammunition. And that you need to commit logical fallacies instead of admitting that you are losing the debate and need to concede. 

For a similar reason, other logical fallacies will not be tolerated. Such as the red herring logical fallacy. Changing the debate topic is a common strategy for someone losing the debate. I will not hesitate to warn you twice and leave the debate on your third violation.
