Hello! I am Mrs. Kayce Heck and I am the School Counselor at the Kindergarten Academy in the Mechanicsburg Area School District. I started my career in education as an Instructional Aide at the Kindergarten Academy; I could not be more delighted to be back in the district that sparked my desire to become a school counselor!
I have my Masters in Education in School Counseling (certified K-12) and I am a Nationally Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors.
I live in Harrisburg with my husband Jake. We both work in education- he sings his way through the day as an elementary music teacher. I love all things Disney, traveling, watching football and spending time with loved ones.
I have created this site to help students and families as they begin to build the foundation in their educational journey. I hope this site helps ensure a smooth transition as a member of the Kindergarten family!
If you have any questions, please contact me by e-mail: kheck@mbgsd.org, phone: 717-506-0852 ext. 5304
I look forward to collaborating with you,
Mrs. Heck
