California State University Resources and Programs for Foster Youth
Remember when you apply to Fresno State you need to complete the CSU application and select Fresno State as one of the universities you want to apply for. CSU Application Site. When you apply, you can select 3 CSU campuses with a fee waiver, so please apply to that many CSU campuses.
CSU Fresno DREAM Center (Resources and Programs for Undocumented Students) Please select the tabs on the left of the website for links to other resources and to complete an interest form. If you are undocumented, Fresno State has many resources to help you pay for college. Please do not let this hold you back from applying.
Fresno State Renaissance Scholars Program for Foster Youth Please select the tabs on the left of the website for links, resources, and a link to apply to their program. This program is highly regarded at Fresno State and truly helps foster youth graduate from college. Please apply.
Fresno State EOP Program Information Page When you apply to Fresno State, please select that you want to apply to the EOP Program and complete the questions for the application. EOP is a program geared towards first-generation students attending college. EOP students have their own counselors and priority registration.
CAMP Program The Fresno State CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program) is for any student who comes from migrant or seasonal farm worker families. The CAMP program assists with academic counseling, financial assistance, etc. Please apply to this program if your parents' work in the fields.
California Promise Program- is a commitment on behalf of the California State University system to support entering first-year students (through Four-Year Promise) and eligible transfer students (through Two-Year Promise)with a verified Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) in the completion of their degrees through pledge programs.
Roosevelt High School hosts a yearly Inspire Tomorrow Mentoring Dinner for seniors who will attend Fresno State. Roosevelt alumni attending Fresno State come back and provide seniors attending the university with advice on how to navigate the university.
