Hi! I am so happy you are here! My name is Mrs. Glasmann and this is my second year at Upland Terrace! I hold an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a minor/endorsement in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I graduated with a Master of Education with an emphasis in Trauma, Resilience, and Restorative Justice, and last fall I completed an Educational Technology Endorsement! Throughout college I competed in track & field!
I was born and raised in Park City, Utah. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with family, friends, and furry friends! I got married this past June (yay!) to my husband, Aiden - for now I have decided to keep my last name as "Glasmann" in the classroom! My favorite hobbies are snow/water skiing, playing volleyball, and traveling. A fun fact about me is that (through some unique circumstances) I anonymously donated a kidney to a child in 2023!
My goal is for every student to feel safe, seen, valued, and loved each day they walk through our door. I strive to create a classroom where students are challenged to grow, encouraged to be curious, and confident to take risks in their learning. Together, I hope we can build a community where kindness, hard work, and a love of learning can flourish. 😊
I got married this past June at the Utah State Capitol - one of our field trip spots!
I love to slalom waterski, especially when my dog, Red, is on board!
This is my family! I have two older sisters and a younger brother!
My brother-in-law, Kolton, is the head coach for Skyline Lacrosse! My dad (far right) has taught automotive at Kearns High School for almost 30 years! It is so fun to work in the same school district as them!
Here I am presenting my M.Ed. thesis!
Here I am throwing javelin at a track and field meet in college.
Track and field is a big sport in my family! My mom was an alternate for the 1988 Olympics for javelin! My two older sisters competed in javelin for Stanford, UC Berkeley, and the University of Utah!
