Welcome to Dual Credit Composition (English 1013)!
In this class, we play with language by composing writing in multiple genres and forms. We examine what it means to fully communicate in a variety of rhetorical situations and practice communicating to multiple audiences and for a wide array of purposes.
This is a college course and follows all guidelines as set by Texas Woman's University. In this course, we utilize TWU's Canvas and follow the grading guidelines as set by the university. Please check TWU Canvas for grade updates and feedback rather than HAC as HAC will only be updated for IPR and report card reporting periods.
As this is a college course, the semester grade is what is reported rather than the usual high school grading calculation (Q1 + Q2/2*.8 + Exam * .2). Therefore, it is imperative that you stay current on all activities and assignments so as to not fall behind in coursework.
