We use Pearson Reading Street as our reading series. Each unit contains five stories centered around a big question. That question is added to each week to help form a deeper understanding of the reading. Every 5th day, we will be taking a test over the concept of the week and the weekly vocabulary.

Word Work
Each week, students are responsible for learning a spelling pattern or sound. They are tested on twenty given words and five bonus words on Fridays of each week.
