NEW for 2025!
Created for teachers to display in their classrooms to help elevate women in IT, and improve visibility of role models for girls interested in studying technology and/or computing subjects at a Secondary level. A strong focus was placed on diversity for this collection.
They’re FREE to download and perfect for printing up in your classrooms, staff rooms, or computer labs. A simple way to spark conversations about careers in tech and make sure our students see diverse leaders represented in the field.
Would love to hear how you use them in your classrooms!
This poster series was created in July 2021 featuring Australian women in Computer Science, along with some notable non-Australians. Created for teachers to display in their classrooms to help improve gender balance in elective (Year 9+) computing classes.
I also worked with The GiST, part of Education Services Australia, to create a set of posters featuring Australian women who work in STEM (Science, Technology, Enginerring & Maths). I can only claim credit for the first 16 profiles down to Cheryl Praeger.

Increasing Girls in Computing
Recommendations collated from a literature review of research on girls in computing, ICT, and computer science. It starts with a list of problems, then lists recommendations separated into categories, focusing on the agent of change.
It can be used by careers councillors to target areas of improvement.
