My Teaching Career

This school year will be my 11th year teaching, and my third year at Port Allegany Elementary. 

I began my teaching career as a pre-school teacher with Head Start. I then became a 4th grade teacher at Archbishop Walsh Academy. 

My teaching position before coming to Port Allegany Elementary, was a Reading Specialist at Beacon Light's Custer City Private School.  

Though I have had the opportunity to teach many ages, I absolutely love my 5th grade position in Port Allegany. 

My Education

I graduated from Smethport Area High School in 2009. I then attended college at Edinboro University and graduated in 2013. Upon graduation, I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I returned to Edinboro for my Master's Degree in Reading Education, and graduated in 2017.
