Dear Parents,

It is important to have structure not only in the classroom but at home as well. I have no idea what home life is like for your family, and I will never assume that I do. However, I believe that it is healthy to have a balance of reward and discipline. Keeping a schedule is also a good tool to have in your pocket. Because of this and many other reasons (which are linked in my website) I have created a template that you can use to create your own structured home if you would like. I have attached a copy to this letter, and I have a link to it on my website as well. This will also help if you have more than one child because they will no longer be able to say that they did not know or that you did not do the same thing to your other child. It can also keep you from looking hypocritical to your children.
