Student Leadership and Prevention Program - Elementary School
Developed and implemented PeaceKeeper program, a leadership opportunity for 4th and 5th grade students to become problem-solving helpers in their school playground during lunch and recess. The goal of this program is to decrease discipline referrals during unstructured time and improve school climate.
The first presentation is an example of one of our training sessions on the topic of "feelings and empathy". The second presentation was used at the end of the training to review all topics covered and gather data about students' attitudes, knowledge, and skills and assess students' readiness for the program.

Core Curriculum Lessons - Elementary School
Developed and implemented four lessons for 4th grade students with the goal of promoting community building that emphasizes respect and value for diversity and multicultural identities of all members of the school.

Core Curriculum Lesson - Middle School
Co-developed and co-facilitated core curriculum lesson to all 7th grade students on the topics of 8th grade promotion requirements, high school transition, academic review, and SMART goal setting.

Small Counseling Group Curriculum - Middle School
Co-developed and co-facilitated small-group counseling focused on supporting 7th grade students to develop positive attitudes towards learning and effective study skills, as well as improve grades and GPA.

California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) and California School Dashboard Data Analysis Webinar
Analyzed, correlated and presented CHKS and School Dashboard data to assess school's strengths, needs, and provide recommendations to improve school climate and student achievement.

Advocacy Through Infographic & Data Sharing
Developed school counseling profile to provide an overview of what the school counseling team does to make a difference every day at Del Lago Academy. This infographic was shared with school stakeholders to showcase data about the school counseling program, and has been published by the California Association of School Counselors (CASC). Family Engagement Presentation (in Spanish) - High School
Facilitated presentation to Spanish speaking families of 11th grade students about college admissions process including ACT/SAT, college exploration and applications, financial aid, and Naviance.
