We will use this resource daily. Students will work on skills from the day's lesson. Students can access this through the link (be sure to see the BULLDOG on the sign in page or you login information won't work) or they can download the app on their personal devices at home. Students can use this program for math and science.
XtraMath: https://xtramath.org/#/signin/student
Students will need to use my email address (jessicaaitchison@walkerschools.org) to login at home.
XtraMath is another great resource that we will use daily (less than 10 minute lesson). This website is for students to practice math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division 0-12). Previous standards from 2nd and 3rd grade state that students will be able to fluently solve mental math facts. Being successful in 4th grade math relies heavily on your child knowing their basic math facts; it makes all other parts of math so much easier. If your child has not memorized math facts, this is a GREAT resource for them to practice at home. Students will be recognized and receive a certificate as they master each operation. Students who finish all four operations will receive recognition and receive a Math Master Award at the end of the school year.
Prodigy: https://www.prodigygame.com/dashboard/#welcome
Prodigy is a fun program that the kids LOVE to do. It is set up as a "video game", but the students practice math concepts to advance levels. Students are allowed to work on Prodigy if they have finished the day's assignments or at the end of the week if they're caught up with all their weekly work.
Google Classroom: https://classroom.google.com/
Google Classroom is where students will complete all their math journals and other math work. We use this resource daily. Students will be able to see assignments and when they are due. Parents will be able to see their child's work, their score (if it was a graded assignment), and if it was turned in on time.
PowerSchool: https://walkerschools.powerschool.com/public/home.html
