School Counseling Vision Statement

Our vision is that every student at Luther Elementary is an innovative learner, who plays an active role in their own education. School counselors will promote student development by focusing on the needs, interests, and issues related to the stages of student growth through academic, career, and personal/social development. The counselor will work cooperatively with fellow counselors, staff members, family, community members, and other educational entities to help students develop strong character, achieve success in school, and develop into competent and productive citizens.

The mission of the Luther Elementary School’s comprehensive counseling program is to provide a comprehensive, collaborative, developmentally appropriate, data-informed program that helps prepare, motivate, and empower every student to achieve their full potential.
