We use the Talking, Drawing, Writing curriculum for our writing block. Talking & drawing provide a natural pathway to writing. Kindergarteners will become storytellers, illustrators and writers. Teachers will model writing as students learn about writing from left to right, spacing, letter and word recognition. Students will also learn that letters make sounds, letters together make words, and words together make sentences.
