My name is Mrs. Pinkston and I am the music teacher at MES. I am looking forward to a wonderful year with your children.
Your child will come to music once during their Encore rotation for a 45-minute lesson. We sit on the floor for our lessons of singing, dancing, playing, listening, and creating music. I have each child sit in a designated spot and everyone is spaced apart in a checkerboard fashion.
Updates for Chorus and Ukulele (Upper grades)
Chorus will begin on Wednesday, September 6th.
Upper grades (3-5) will be using ukuleles this year. Our school ukuleles are plastic, therefore easy to sanitize. Please see the Ukulele page for some information regarding ukuleles if you are interested in purchasing one. This is not necessary for music class.
