In my video, I test all of these objects to determine whether they will sink or float. 

The next worksheet has a few different items for your child to practice. Please help your child determine whether those items will sink or float and fill out the worksheet. 

Sink or Float: Student Practice 

Please help your child experiment whether the pictured items will sink or float. 

If you do not have one of the items listed, your child can replace it with something they do have. Your child can draw a picture of the item they used in the correct place on the cup. 

Cut the small boxes out and glue them in the correct section of the cup. If the item floats, glue it in the top of the cup. If the item sinks, glue it in the bottom of the cup.
