Cyberbullying is bullying over the internet and social media. It takes place over computers, iPads, cellphones, and tablets. It can occur through any communication source such as text, email, or online through social media. Cyberbullying is sitting behind a screen being mean to another person. Just because you are behind a screen does not make it okay to treat others poorly. This is important because is affects children just like regular bullying does. As teachers and parents it is important we help to stop cyberbullying.
If you are being bullied or know of someone who is, always be sure to report it and get someone involved before things get out of hand.
