Hello 2nd Grade Families!

I am Mrs. Holmstedt and I am so very excited to be your 2nd grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.   This will be my 12th year teaching.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade.  

Bachelor's Degree: Elementary Education-Emphasis in Early Childhood Education-University of Wyoming 

Master's Degree:Educator Effectiveness-Reading Instruction- Western Colorado State University

A Little About Me:

My family moved to Colorado when I was 6 years old.

 I  attended Remington Elementary School, Skyview Middle School, and Sand Creek High school in D49.  I've wanted to be a teacher since I was in elementary school. 

I met my husband in 2016 and we were married the following year during fall break.  We bought our first home in Falcon in 2019 and we just added a puppy to our family, her name is Tai. 

I love anything Disney and going to Disneyland.  Some hobbies are hiking, creating recourses for Teachers Pay Teachers and gardening.

I love shopping on Amazon, at Target, and I love White Peppermint Mochas from Starbucks.
