I grew up in a little town in south central Utah.  I'm the youngest of four children.  I have been married for nearly 20 years and have four children of my own, two boys and two girls.  I received my first degree in culinary arts from UVSC and am currently going to school to obtain my Elementary Education degree.  Growing up, I wanted to become a teacher but I put aside those dreams while I stayed home and raised a family with my husband.

I absolutely love teaching and getting to know all of my amazing students. They teach me probably just as much if not more than I'm able to teach them.  Teaching is a wonderful, stressful, amazing, crazy step in my life that I didn't realize I was missing until I was given the opportunity to teach last year.  

I love spending time in the outdoors.  I enjoy crafting and relaxing with my family.  I also enjoy running a little side business that I started on a whim 14 years ago.  School takes up most of my time, but I love a new adventure, which this definitely is!
