Welcome to 3rd grade! I'm so excited to meet you all! I have many fun and exciting learning opportunities to share with you! Some concepts you will be learning this year include: multiplication; division; fractions; cursive; force & motion; magnetism; life cycles of plants & animals; ecosystems; California regions; continuing in our knowledge of God and our faith; creating personal narratives; writing informational texts; composing fictional narratives and sharing your opinion pieces. We will have centers for science, math and writing; as I want a chance to work individually with you, as well as, allow you the opportunity to work with partners and in small groups. We will read several books this year, as I love reading and hope to share this passion with you. We will be going on several field trips throughout the year to enhance classroom learning. We will have several reward systems in place to encourage participation and good citizenship.
