Hello.
I'm Mrs. Corbett, and I am super excited to journey through wonderful reading and writing landscapes with you. For me, reading is an experience that invites you to pull up a chair at a table in a café, coffee or tea in hand, and enter into a conversation with someone you may never meet personally but who quickly becomes a mentor and perhaps even a friend. Writing on the other hand is an invitation to openness where we gather up words, puzzle through, and sort ideas, beliefs, and observances. The spilling or intentional placement of the words and phrases we have gathered help us to connect to the inner working of our own thoughts, to the world around us, and best of all, to our Creator and Heavenly Father.
Both literature and writing invite us to travel to other places that we may never have been. It is a trip that invites me, personally, to consider and really look at the beauty of thought and feeling landscapes within me as if I were slowly traversing up a mountainside or walking through Custer State Park where the bison roam and the elf stand beautiful. It is the connection to words and language and ideas that shapes who I am becoming. And I am continuously becoming. I hope you are too.
I look forward to our time together this year… learning about you, who you are growing to be, and what worlds you are and will be exploring this year.

I have been married to a man named Tenny for 29 years. His name Tenny is not a typo (a question that I am often asked). Tenny's parents thought that it was a good fit to name him Tenny because he is the last of ten kids. We have four incredible adult children and one amazing son-in-law. We also have two beloved fur babies, Tut, our feline mighty hunter, and Bella, our precious Goldendoodle, who truly serves as emotional support to us all.
If you are wondering about light switch activities, they would include everything and anything in nature. Hikes, walks, animals, nature and wildlife photography, writing and reading...it is through nature that I find a sacred cathedral and grow close to my Lord and Savior.
Also, I love to create and have a high appreciation for what is fun and beautiful. Finally, I am a huge fan of mysteries...all mysteries, reading and watching...and perhaps one day I will write one of my own.
