Have you ever tried writing in Spanish on a Word Document or somewhere else and had no idea how to make the accent marks!? You can use the ALT code shortcuts below. ALT codes only work if you have a number keypad to the right of your alpha keypad. You can also access the Character Map on your computer (if you are struggling to find it, type "character map" into the search bar under your Start menu to find all of the special marks used in Spanish). Print or write down a copy of ALT codes to help you out! You can also use ALT codes as you work through the assignments on Edgenuity instead of having to move your mouse over the accented letter each time.
Shortcut ALT codes (to use the codes, hold down the ALT key and press the numbers after, then release ALT)

NOTE: for capital letters, hold down shift when you hit the letter you want accented.
If you are using a Smart Phone and you want to text or write a message in Spanish, you can always hold down the letter key for the accented options. Oooo, good to know!
