11:25-12:30--Students with homeroom teacher for recess and lunch

12:30-1:10- Independent learning Centers

1:10-1:50- Content area focus

1:50-2:00- Growing Mindsets/mindfulness

2:00-2:30--Reflection and learning games.

Students receive 225 minutes per week of gifted instruction. Our unit, 

2:40-2:50- Warm up

2:50-3:25- Unit

3:25-3:40- Reflection/games

Students receive 45 minutes per week of Gifted Services.

Our math unit, 'Exploring Shape Games: Geometry with Imi and Zani' begins with an introductory lesson that familiarizes students with their roles as speakers and listeners in a math learning environment. This will take place in the seond half of the year.

Students receive 225 minutes per week of gifted instruction. Our unit,

10:40-11:00- Reflection/games

Students receive 90 minutes per week of Gifted instruction. The first half of the year will have a focus on math. Project A3: Awesome Advanced Activities for Mentoring Mathematical Minds, content allows students to think deeply about the mathematics by engaging in rich discussions and in-depth written explanations to justify their thinking. These investigations are a far cry from your typical enrichment worksheets. Students love the games and interactive activities that challenge them and encourage their critical and creative thinking.

The second half of the year will have a focus on language arts. Our unit, "Journey's and Destinations" has a guiding theme of this unit is the recognition of change as a concept that affects people and their relationships to the world around them. An open-ended approach to the discussion process is emphasized in the search for meaning in literature selections such as Aesop’s fables, The Green Man, One Little Bag, and “Ozymandias.” 

11:05-11:35

Kindergarten receives 30 minutes of gifted time per week. 

11:45-11:55- Warm up

11:55-12:20- Unit

12:20-12:35- Reflection/games

Students receive 45 minutes per week of Gifted Services.
