***Charleston Wraps Fundraiser Ends Friday***
The May River Montessori PTO Oyster Roast is our signature spring fundraiser—bringing together families, friends, and community supporters for an evening of great food, connection, and celebration in support of our school.
Guests will enjoy a classic Lowcountry oyster roast with all-you-can-eat fresh oysters, BBQ sliders, mac & cheese, cornbread, beer and wine, live music, and a s’mores station by the fire pits overlooking the May River. All food, drinks, and activities are included with the price of admission. The evening will also include a $1,500 tuition credit raffle and a silent auction featuring donations from MRM families and local businesses.
More than a fundraiser, the Oyster Roast is a chance to come together as a school community and support the experiences that make May River Montessori special. We hope to see you there!
Do I need to be an MRM parent to attend the Oyster Roast?
No! The Oyster Roast is open to MRM families, friends, and community supporters. All are welcome to attend and support our school.
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes all-you-can-eat oysters, food options, beer and wine, live music, and access to the event activities, including a live auction, the silent auction, and tuition raffle.
Where do the proceeds go?
All funds raised support May River Montessori through classroom resources, staff appreciation, enrichment programs, campus improvements, and community-building events.
Is this an adults-only event?
The Oyster Roast is designed as an adult-focused fundraiser, and tickets are priced for adults. To support MRM families planning to attend, optional childcare is available on a limited, first-come basis.
Is childcare included with my ticket?
Childcare is offered as a separate, optional add-on exclusively for May River Montessori families attending the Oyster Roast. Registration must be completed in advance; space is limited. Please email PTOMRM@gmail.com for details.
