Mr Mexx Ng's Interesting cases

One year ago, I meet received enquiry to rent a property in Kepong from Kit. He told me that he and his friend will be working for his uncle in Pasar Borong Selayang, and their age is just around18-19. I was in a dilemma when I submit tenant profile for the house owner's PA.

Then I get a question from my friend: out of so many client, why are you proposing him?

I just smile and tell her: I promised the owner to clear his remaining units hahaha.

"Its not about those unit, do you know that Pasar Borong Selayang is one if the virus-cluster, and he is just 18. Look at the profile, I have no idea why would you helping him." she ask cluelessly.

I took a paused, the discussion stopped, the moment was awkward. Then I looked at her and answer: We share the same concern, but when I look into Kit eyes, I can feel his despair, he was rejected by others agent/owners. His uncle business in Pasar Borong Selayang was greatly affected due to pandemic and there is no labour forces available despite they are offering the same pay about executive level. Their family business was at stake, Kit have no choice but to move from Ipoh to here just to support the business. After understanding his background, Virus will not be the reason for me to reject my client, I have no reason to turn down such a polite and kind young man who try hard to save his family business.

Luckily everything goes smooth, the owner was convinced and decided to seal the deal.

A year passed, their tenancy ended. Kit keep the house clean and neat, and he make his payment on time and secure my reputation. His family business was back on track, so he went back to his hometown and pursue his dream.

Beauty of being a property agent is that I always get to know interesting story behind every person. It could be a happy or a sad one, but I always committed to help every sincere client. Hoping everyone stay safe and healthy during this period
