MRIYA is built by a team of people with heart and dedication.
Each person brings a unique story and deep commitment to healing, community and hope.
Co-Founder, Creative Heart of MRIYA
Svitlana is the co-founder and creative driving force behind MRIYA.
She brings warmth, aesthetic sensitivity, and a caring soul into every detail — from program design to daily hospitality.
In 2025, she completed the Restart Program in Norway for social entrepreneurship.
With a background in music and creative work, she is a singer by calling and a soul who leads with gentleness.
Her dream is to create a space where people are truly seen, where they feel safe — where it feels like home.
Co-Founder, Vision & Program Lead
Oleksii is the co-founder and guiding heart of MRIYA.
An actor, director, and creative leader by profession — he laid down his career in theater and film after fleeing war and rebuilding life in exile.
His voice today is quieter, but deeper.
He carries presence, stillness, and a profound respect for human dignity.
"I love when what I do becomes meaningful for someone else. Then nothing is in vain."
Founder of VIRA NOVA, Pastor of the “Love of Christ” Church (Kyiv)
Oksana carries the Word like living water.
She is here to give what heals — and what restores trust.
A wise woman with pastoral heart.
She speaks little, but when she does — grief is softened, and strength returns.
She walks with others through pain quietly — always with respect.
Mentor and Intercessor
"I have walked through darkness. And now, I am no longer afraid of other people’s pain.”
Tetiana is a mother who lost her son in the war.
Yet today, she carries a quiet testimony — that even after grief, there is life.
And service.
She walks gently, yet firmly.
A quiet soul, strong in hope.
Board Member of VIRA NOVA Foundation
"I don’t always have the answers. But I can be someone who brings peace.”
She notices details. Organizes with care.
Her calm is presence.
Her loyalty in the unseen makes things steady.
Chair of the MRIYA Association (Norway)
She carries the voice of structure and care.
With both wisdom and warmth, she holds responsibility with grace.
Thanks to her, MRIYA is registered as an official non-profit in Norway.
Behind MRIYA stands not just a team — but a shared calling.
Different backgrounds, stories, and roles — united by one purpose:
to create a space where Ukrainian women can find rest, renewal, and hope.
We are deeply thankful for everyone who supports this mission — in big ways and small.
Because healing always begins with presence. And presence begins with people.
