π Ulsteinvik, Norway
π₯ Participants: 5 women from Ukraine
π― Focus: spiritual renewal, community, silence, creativity
Our very first pilot retreat took place β a week of silence, prayer, deep conversations, and a gentle space for women who lost loved ones because of the war.
Each day centered on a theme: acceptance, remembrance, hope, trust, future.
Together, we:
β prayed
β walked by the sea
β rested and reflected
β healed in the beauty of Norwegian nature
β visited landmarks like the Alesund Aquarium and Geirangerfjord
β spoke and embraced silence
Most importantly β we gave birth to new life within.
βI felt the desire to live again β to plan, to love, to care.
This is a place where you truly feel loved⦠where you are filled by nature and human kindness.
I needed to scream my pain into the ocean β and I did.
Standing by the powerful waves, I felt the strength of nature and the presence of the Creator.β
βIf as a child you ever imagined a magical place filled with kindness β this is it.
A real space where goodness and love can bring healing.
When someone shares genuine warmth with you, it awakens the desire to pass it on to others in need.β
βThis journey wasnβt about change β it was about restoration.
Gentle hugs, joyful laughter, fishing in Norway, care in every detail.
It reminded me that goodness still exists.
MRIYA is a project of love, support and deep compassion.β
"After losing my husband, this was the first time someone truly cared for me.
MRIYA gave me strength, peace and reminded me Iβm not alone.
The kindness I received in Norway, especially from Svitlana and Oleksii, touched my heart deeply."
