Many of you may have remembered using "Cells Alive" as a site to help your students understand different parts of cells, transport, organelles, etc. Per the message from their website, I have included the information available below as well as my attempt to rehost the information:
Providing CELLS alive! has been a pleasure and a privilege. But after a thirty year run, it's online presence is coming to a close at the end of 2023. To ensure continued life of the site, it is being replaced by an offline version, available free of charge.
The offline version is a complete working site -- Ouch!, the burping macrophage, interactive animations (Cell Model, Mitosis, HowBig?), matching games, and jigsaw puzzles are all included. Instructions for installation on your computer are in the 78mb ZIP download. Install it on classroom computers or share copies of the ZIP file with others. The online CELLS alive! was always free. Sharing the offline site with others should be free as well.
Thank you to everyone over a long and fruitful association. I wish the best for your future endeavors. And may you all discover something as fulfilling as this venture has been for me.

I am not the creator of these wonderful resources, but I am happy to reshare the resources on behalf of Jim Sullivan. I have found a way to host the information directly within my Canvas Course using the instructions left behind by Jim.
