Weekly Updates

Week of 9/4/2023 - This week, we talked about what our workshop model is going to look like. We created a chart for our Workshops Reading and Writing. We talked about the teachers' jobs in the workshop model and what the students' jobs are in the workshop model. In Math, we practiced counting by 2's and by 5's. Students got to work with popsicle sticks to practice building groups of 5. In Writers workshop, we talked about what good writers do and what writers write (letters, recipes, directions). In Readers Workshop, we talked about what readers read and we also talked about our favorite books. In FUNdations we continued to practice our letter writing and letter sounds. Finally in Science/Social Studies shared our All About Me Bags.

Week of 8/29/2023 - What a great first week back to school! Students had a great first week full of fun games, getting to know each other, lots of coloring and lots of laughter and fun! I am so excited for this year :)
