If you ask your family members, watch TV shows and movies, or even in your own school experience, you have probably seen the "stereotypical math class": the teacher stands at the front and tells you what to do, then you repeat the steps until you get it. Believe it or not, students aren't doing any thinking here!
My math class is a THINKING CLASSROOM. What does that mean? Well, YOU will be doing the heavy lifting! You will have to embrace the struggle, make mistakes, and discover math for yourself. As the teacher, I will help keep you on the right path, but I expect you to do most of the work. While your brain may be a little tired after class, I promise that you will learn to love the way you become a mathematician! The image below shows the pieces of a thinking classroom.
