CSU, East Bay e-Portfolio

Greetings! You found me! Welcome, I am Arnold DeGuzman, Mathematics teacher for Canyon Middle School, specializing in grades 6 -8 math. This site will share a bit about myself with you, and some of my core beliefs that can benefit your students for years to come. There are also many resources for you (links to helpful math sites along with videos to encourage all learners). While it is my first year teaching Mathematics, I have spent 8 years as an elementary school Technology Instructional Assistant where I helped develop and implement the Technology Curriculum for grades K-5. I am a member of the California Mathematics Council and I am excited to work with your students as we learn to apply Mathematical Concepts to our everyday lives.

About me...

As a graduate of CSU in Sacramento, I took my degree in Economics and worked for several years in the Financial Services Industry. Some of the hats I wore included: Financial Advisor, Online Trading Representative, Trading Desk Supervisor, and Investment Counselor.
