MR 300 is one of the very few sculptors in the world that use unique medias to make their sculptures. His preferred medium to make his sculptures are books, newspaper and stacks of glued paper. The idea to carve books came from his deep desire to create unique form of art, he always thought to himself he needs to create something new, something fresh.
For more than nine years he spends a lot of time experimenting with a lot of materials including glass, rocks, carving on woods and making clay sculptures. Although his deep passion for art helped him to acquire greater knowledge of wood carving, clay sculpting and making glass sculptures he was not satisfied with his achievements.
MR 300 carries on his experimentation with a lot more materials until finally the idea to carve books came to his mind. He then tested his wood carving skills on old books in his home, using his knowledge gained from all of his trials and errors of carving, he realized the potential book carving had.
He then taught himself to carve on the books and perfected his craft for two years, he made his first book sculpture within three months. His relentless effort to create new form of art paid off when he succeeded in inventing his unique form of art. His books sculptures caught the eye of many admirers around the world.
