In fifteen years of teaching Middle School Math, I have found that small-group instruction is the ideal way to build students' confidence and skill in Mathematics. In that time, I've developed a deep well of engaging and challenging resources to help students thrive.
I grew up in Newton, MA, attended Roxbury Latin for High School, and graduated cum laude from Columbia University in 2003.
After receiving my Master's in Teaching from Simmons College in Boston, I taught 6th grade Math for three years at the Edith C. Baker School in Brookline, MA.
Since 2012, I've been the Middle School Math teacher at Northern Light School in Oakland, CA, where I've developed a curriculum that takes students from Fractions and Decimals all the way through Quadratics and Polynomials, with lots of fun stops along the way.
