As someone who has a good eye for detail with cinematography, I believe that any type of shot with creative movement as an opening or ending, will be able to engage with the audience successfully and also add onto that cinematic sensation. With myself being the DOP I aim to replicate this to my own innovate standard.

Music choice
In terms of music choice for this project, I intend to apply a sound that aligns perfectly with theme and vision of intimacy and love which is soul/R&B. I believe that with the type of intimate, romantic and slow visuals I have planned it will be something that can blend well together.
The two instrumentals of the songs I'll be experimenting with in post production will be Mulholland drive by October London and get you by Daniel Caesar, Kali Uchis.
Why this song?
My reasoning for Mulholland drive being an option for this project, is because it gives an authentic 80s soul vibe and in family, Romance and black comedy movies when two lovers meet, or a story about love is being told, This is the type of music you'd hear in the background and it's warm, soothing, smooth and suave. In terms of post production, because the beat is repetitive, when editing you could finish from any point with fading it or creating a curve trace with the volume for it to end perfectly, if i was in the scenario where everything is edited and the music hasn't necessarily reached at a stop point in time with the visuals
Why this song?
My reasoning for this song is, the fact that it lays between modern love sound and old. The sensation of the beat takes you back to a time of summer, or even the feeling of walking through a park when it's 25 degrees outside and the warm breeze is blowing about. I also just believe that with the slow beats being so passionate it will not only align well with the visuals but from an editing prespective allow me to cut from different shots in time with the beat to display more creative effect.

Day 3 (Shoreditch):
This day is more of a directing plan for me. The key idea for day 3 is to direct my DOP to capture Ola in a rectangular sequence having him rap from four different sides (Left, Right, Centre, Behind) and then track him in a circle as he raps. The rest would consist of Vhs footage and random visuals, all enough to reach the end of the music video.
Production + Post Plan
During production with both Day 1&2, as the director I will lead Cozy to rapping half of the song only before the instrumental for the second half. This is because it will not only be easier, But it gives space for the final day to explore creatively with the second half so it will be overall easier in post production.
